Paradigm and the misrecording meter

Metering DMAs is an essential mechanism to identify areas experiencing water losses, allowing companies to estimate leakage as accurately as possible.

In this case study, Paradigm analysis turned up an inlet meter that was not recording properly. With the area’s model matching well in the day but not at night, there were two likely possibilities; an open boundary valve or that the meter was not recording low flows properly.
