Paradigm highlights bad data

Where there is bad data feeding into decision making, the only result can be sub optimal decisions.

In this case study, Paradigm identified an integrity issue that was causing inaccuracies in the net flow, leading to reported upstream losses of approximately 230 m3/d on the upstream network. The 2* rating attributed to this area’s model indicated there was some level of match between net flow and model, but that integrity issues were preventing a better match. One replaced inlet meter later and the flow near perfectly matched Paradigm’s expectations. By maintaining this volume for a period of time, the area’s model would be promoted to a 5*.
